What is a lathe-cut record?
A lathe-cut record is produced one disc at a time. Instead of pressing hundreds of copies from metal stampers, your audio is cut directly into a blank disc in real time. This makes one-off records and genuinely small runs practical.
Choose the right record size
Use 7-inch for shorter singles and gifts, 10-inch for a distinctive mid-sized format, or 12-inch for longer sides, albums and DJ-friendly cuts. The order calculator shows the available playing time and price for each option.
Every cut uses variable pitch
We use variable-pitch groove spacing so quieter sections use less room and louder or bass-heavy sections receive more space. This helps use the available recording area efficiently while reducing the risk of neighbouring grooves colliding.
Made for many kinds of project
We produce records for artists, producers, DJs, independent labels, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, presentations and collectors. You can order a single copy or a short run.
